About the Imprint

—————————————

Our publishing philosophy is grounded in three principles:

Intellectual Rigour Every book we champion meets high standards of research, analysis, and integrity while remaining accessible to thoughtful general readers.

Fresh Perspectives We publish authors who think independently, question the obvious, and offer insights that enrich understanding.

Clear Expression We value writing that brings complex ideas to life with clarity, elegance, and purpose.

We are committed to creating books that endure: works that speak to the current moment while offering lasting value. Each project is selected with care, developed with attention, and shaped through a collaborative editorial process that supports authors in bringing their strongest ideas to the page.

Editorial
Approach

Thoughtful Curation We publish a limited number of titles, focusing on projects that reflect our mission and contribute meaningfully to public discourse. Each book is chosen for its intellectual merit, originality, and potential to illuminate important questions.

Clarity & Accessibility We prize writing that communicates complex ideas with precision and grace. Our editorial work emphasizes clear structure, strong argumentation, and prose that invites readers into challenging material.

Integrity & Care We are committed to a publishing process grounded in care, accuracy, and respect for both readers and authors. Our goal is to bring important ideas into the world with seriousness and elegance.

Submissions
Policy

Clement Press is a curated nonfiction imprint. To maintain the focus and integrity of our list, we currently do not accept unsolicited submissions.

We periodically invite proposals from authors whose work aligns with our mission: rigorous thinking, fresh perspectives, and clear, engaging prose. When a project resonates with our editorial vision, we reach out directly to the author.

If you believe your work may be a strong fit and would like us to be aware of it, you are welcome to send a brief note of introduction using our contact form. While we cannot respond to all inquiries, we do review messages that align with our areas of interest.

Our list is intentionally selective, and each book we take on receives close editorial attention from proposal to publication.
